Meet Julia -3rd Generation Multi Award winning Baker
Baking isn’t just a profession for Julia — it’s a lifelong passion.
As a third-generation baker, Julia grew up in the bakery industry and has been involved in baking since the age of four.
Since taking the reins at Piccolo Morso in 2021, Julia has played a key role in the bakery’s transformation and growth. Her dedication to quality, innovation, and customer experience has helped establish Piccolo Morso as one of Taranaki’s most recognised bakeries, earning national recognition for its award-winning products.
Julia’s expertise has also been recognised nationally, with appearances on TVNZ on multiple occasions, where she has shared her passion and knowledge of baking with audiences across New Zealand.
Beyond running a successful bakery, Julia is passionate about supporting the future of the baking industry. Over the past five years, she has mentored and trained numerous team members, helping people with little or no baking experience develop the skills and confidence to become professional bakers.
